Late night at Baker Street

I have been on a Sherlock Holmes kick since last August, to the near exclusion of all else. I'm sure this will surprise none of you, but I'm quite partial to Holmes/Watson, and this was my first attempt at drawing the two of them. It can be slashy or platonic, whichever you please. Watson came out quite to my liking (who knew I could draw facial hair?), but Holmes looks a bit too young or something. But for a first try I'm not too disappointed :3

I discovered how to use screen tone in Photoshop while making this, and I love the effect. I keep using it for my Holmes and Watson pictures now because it's so dead easy XD Victorian men's clothing is possibly my favorite thing to draw ever.

I imagine the scene taking place is something like this:

221B Baker St. around 1:00 am
Watson - Are you going to bed, Holmes?
Holmes - No, I've research to do.
Watson - I don't think I'll turn in quite yet, then.
*twenty minutes later*
Watson - *zzzzz*
Holmes - *amused*
